Helping you write your own book
In addition to writing my own articles and books, I also consult with other writers who need help in editing or writing their own books. I have taken two authors from start to finish, beginning with a very rough manuscript presented to me which I’ve proofread, extensively edited, factchecked, organized and streamlined to create readable, enjoyable books. I oversaw all the words associated with these books and also helped these authors find cover art, a designer and proofreader (for Chicago style) and printer to bring these books to print.
The two books I developed include “God’s Doctor” by Bob Eckert, one of the original five elders at the world-famous Episcopal Church of the Redeemer in Houston, Texas. I helped him express how believers tapped into God’s power and presence back in the beginning days of the Jesus movement and how they can do so now. His book came out in 2017.
The second book was Udo Nwachukwu’s “From Incestuous Christianity to Making Disciples,” whose theme includes a plea to Christians to spend at least one Sunday a month outside of their churches doing evangelism in the neighborhoods. It’s a captivating idea that works and I was happy to help Udo develop his passion for evangelism into a readable book that was published in 2019.
